Back to Dakar: Decolonizing international political economy through dependency theory

Whereas the field of International Political Economy (IPE) included a diversity voices at its outset, histories tend to marginalize certain contributions - particularly those from Global South. The endeavor decolonize IPE offers an opportunity look back IPE’s history, re-discover marginalized voices, and imagine new possible futures. This article engages with contemporary calls proposes alternative route do so by recovering dependency theory.
